2022 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup Final
The 2022 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup final was the 20th final of the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup. The match was played on 11 December 2022 at Tynecastle Park, Edinburgh. Rangers and Hibernian were the finalists; the match was televised live in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports and Sky Sports Mix channels. Rangers won the trophy for the first time. 2022–23 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup
The 2022 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup was the 20th edition of the Scottish Women's Premier League's league cup competition, which began in 2002. It was sponsored by Sky Sports and officially known as the Sky Sports Scottish Women's Premier League Cup. The competition was contested by all 16 teams of the two divisions of the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL 1 and SWPL 2). New Douglas Park
New Douglas Park, currently known as the ZLX Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a football stadium in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, which serves as the home of Scottish Championship side Hamilton Academical and Scottish League One side Clyde. It takes its name from Douglas Park, the club's former stadium which was located immediately to the south of the current site. Kathryn Hill (born 21 June 1994) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays as a defender for Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League. Career Hill started her career playing with Rangers and was with the Glasgow club for five years. She then moved to Old Dominion University for two seasons. She captained the team in her final year. Nicola Docherty (born 23 August 1992) is a Scottish international footballer who currently plays as a left sided defender for Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League. Career Docherty started playing with Falkirk Girls at the age of 10 and was called up to the Scotland under-15 squad in 2006. Rugby Park Stadium
Rugby Park is a sports venue in Invercargill and the home ground for the Mitre 10 Cup and Southland. Rugby Park is located on the corner of Elles Road and Tweed Street. The ground has a regular season capacity of 18,000. It has a safe temporary seating maximum capacity of 20,000 (although it can accommodate up to 30,000 with pitch seating, large grass banks and concreted standing terraces). An agreement with the Invercargill City Council saw surplus land on the ground used to build the city's new Swimming Complex. The pitch was moved geographically towards the main stand, squared off to Rugby field dimensions (originally a quasi-cricket ground), with all weather seating installed.
