2022 Saskatchewan Roughriders Season
The 2022 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 64th season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 113th year overall, and its 106th season of play. The Roughriders were eliminated from post-season contention on October 22, 2022, following a loss to the Calgary Stampeders. The Roughriders failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The 2022 CFL season was the third season under head coach Craig Dickenson and general manager Jeremy O'Day. West Division (CFL)
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the West Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The five teams in the West Division are the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Elks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Jordan Genmark Heath (born December 16, 1997) is a Swedish professional gridiron football linebacker. He played college football for Notre Dame and UCLA. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2022 and Philadelphia Stars of the United States Football League (USFL) in 2023. Samuel Emilus (born October 25, 1997) is a professional Canadian football wide receiver for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career Emilus played college football for the UMass Minutemen from 2018 to 2020. The 2021 CFL season was the 67th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it was the 63rd season of the Canadian Football League. 2022 CFL Draft
The 2022 CFL National Draft was a selection of National players by Canadian Football League (CFL) teams that took place on May 3, 2022, at 8:00 pm ET and was broadcast on TSN and RDS. 74 players were chosen from among eligible players from Canadian Universities across the country, as well as Canadian players playing in the NCAA.
