2022 SWAC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2022 SWAC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2021–22 season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The tournament was held March 9–12, 2022. The tournament winner, the 2021–22 Texas Southern Tigers basketball team, Texas Southern Tigers, received the conference's automatic invitation to the 2022 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Cricket Wireless. Seeds Teams will be seeded by record within the conference, with a tie–breaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. Bartow Arena
Bartow Arena is an 8,508-seat multi-purpose arena in Birmingham, in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is home to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Blazers men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team. The arena is named after Gene Bartow, the coach who built the school's men's basketball program from scratch over the last quarter of the 20th century. The 2021–22 Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils basketball team represented Mississippi Valley State University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Delta Devils were led by third-year head coach Lindsey Hunter for the first 25 games of the season and by interim head coach George Ivory for the final three games of the season.
