2022 Nevada Lieutenant Governor Election
The 2022 Nevada lieutenant gubernatorial election occurred on November 8, 2022, to elect the lieutenant governor of the state of Nevada. The election will coincide with various other federal and state elections, including for Governor of Nevada. Primary elections are to be held on June 14. Nevada is one of 21 states that elects its lieutenant governor separately from its governor. Incumbent Democratic Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead was appointed by Governor Steve Sisolak on December 16, 2021, to succeed Kate Marshall, who resigned to join the Biden administration. She is seeking election to a full term. Lisa Cano Burkhead
Lisa Cano Burkhead (born 1970/1971) is an American educator and politician serving as the 36th lieutenant governor of Nevada. She was nominated by Governor Steve Sisolak to replace Kate Marshall in December 2021. Prior to serving as lieutenant governor, Cano Burkhead was a teacher and principal in Clark County, Nevada schools. Jacklyn Sheryl Rosen (née Spektor; born August 2, 1957) is an American politician serving as the junior United States senator from Nevada since 2019. Washoe County () is a county in the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2020 census, the population was 486,492, making it Nevada's second-most populous county. Its county seat is Reno.
