The 2022 Men's PSA World Tour Finals is the men's third edition of the PSA World Tour Finals (Prize money : $200,000). The top 8 players in the 2021–22 PSA World Tour are qualified for the event. As previous year, the event took place at Mall of Arabia, Cairo in Egypt from 21–26 June 2022. It's the fourth edition under the PSA World Tour Finals label after the PSA renamed PSA World Series to current PSA World Tour Finals. CIB remains as the title sponsor. PSA World Ranking Points PSA also awards points towards World Ranking. The 2021–22 PSA World Tour is the international squash (sport), squash tour organised circuit organized by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for the 2021–22 squash (sport), squash season. It's the 7th PSA season since the merger of PSA and WSA associations in 2015. The most important tournaments in the series are the ''PSA World Championship'' for 2021–22 PSA Men's World Squash Championship, Men's and 2021–21 PSA Women's World Squash Championship, Women's. The tour also features two circuits of regular events—''PSA World Tour'' (formerly PSA World Series), which feature the highest prize money and the best fields; and PSA Challenger Tour with prize money ranging $5,500–$30,000. Mazen Hesham
Mazen Hesham (born 29 March 1994 in Cairo) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 8 in March 2022. Career Hesham first became prominent in 2012, when he secured third place in the WSF junior championships in Doha. Following this victory he joined the PSA world Tour. Hesham secured his first PSA world tour title in March of the same year in the NSC scram series in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. He went on to help the Egyptian junior national team win the world title at the World junior Team Squash championships in July 2012. He helped the junior national team defend their crown against the second seed Pakistan. Hesham went on to win his second PSA title in Hong Kong at the Crocodile Challenge cup in August 2012. Joel Makin
Joel Makin (, born 27 October 1994) is a Welsh professional squash player. Makin was born in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. He played squash at Aberdare Junior Squash Club under coaches Bob Gould, Clive Roberts and Dave Cope, and represented Wales at Under-13s level in 2007. He left Aberdare at 18 and, forgoing university, trained at West Warwickshire Club under the guidance of Rob Owen. He won the Kent Open in 2017, beating Josh Masters in straight sets, and the Tring Open in 2018. He reached the semifinals of the men’s singles squash competition at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, losing out to Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan in the bronze medal match. Tarek Momen (born 23 February 1988 in Cairo) is a professional squash player representing Egypt. He is a former World Champion, and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in February 2019. The 2021–22 PSA World Tour is a series of men's and women's squash tournaments which are part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) PSA World Tour from August 2021 until July 2022. The PSA World Tour tournaments are some of the most prestigious events on the men's and women's tour. The best-performing players in the World Tour events qualify for the annual Men's and Women's Finals. Starting in August 2018, PSA replaced World Series tournaments with new PSA World Tour, comprising four new tournament-tiers: Platinum ($164,500–$180,500), Gold ($100,000–$120,500), Silver ($70,000–$88,000) and Bronze ($51,000–$53,000) each one awarding different points.
