2022 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League
The 2022 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League season is the ongoing edition of the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. It started on 2 March 2022. Teams A total of 14 teams will contest the league with a relegation system. Ten teams from 2020 season, one team relegated from A-Division and three teams promoted from C-Division will participate in the league. Saraswati Youth Club was relegated from 2019–20 season, while Church Boys, Birgunj United Club and Samajik Yuwa Club were promoted from 2021 season. Personnel and kits Venues The league was played centrally in one venue in Lalitpur. For the final matchday, selected matches were played at Dasarath Rangasala. Martyr's Memorial B-Division League
Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League ( Nepali: शहीद स्मारक बी डिभिजन लीग) is the second tier of the association football league of Nepal football league system after the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. It was established in 2003 and is run by the All Nepal Football Association.It is currently being held in ANFA Complex. Structure The league is formatted as a single round-robin tournament with the top two team getting promoted to the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League and the bottom two teams relegated to the Martyr's Memorial C-Division League. This structure has not remained constant however as the league structure is changed every year by the All Nepal Football Association. Martyr's Memorial C-Division League ( Nepali: शहीद स्मारक सि डिभिजन लीग) is the third tier association football league of Nepali football league system after the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League and the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. It is run by the All Nepal Football Association. Structure The league is the third highest and lowest centrally organized league in Nepal. Martyr's Memorial A-Division League ( Nepali: शहीद स्मारक ए- डिभिजन लिग; formerly known as the Kathmandu League Championship) is the top divisions of football in Nepal. Contested by 12 to 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the Martyr's Memorial B-Division League. The season usually runs from November to March with every team playing each other once and the top six teams reach the Super Six round, where the teams again play each other once. ANFA Complex is a football stadium and training facility and hosts the headquarters of All Nepal Football Association in Lalitpur, Nepal built in 1999 by All Nepal Football Association. It consists of ''ANFA House'' (the current HQ of ANFA), an ''ANFA Academy'' a hostel, and a football ground. Initially built as an office and hostel for youth-level players, a ground was constructed alongside the facility in order to train the players on site. The ground was then later renovated to include artificial turf for pitch durability due to Nepal's climate requiring constant pitch maintenance. It was built under FIFA's GOAL Project.
