2022 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks Baseball Team
The 2022 Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks baseball team represented the University of Louisiana at Monroe during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Warhawks played their home games at Warhawk Field and were led by fifth-year head coach Michael Federico. They were members of the Sun Belt Conference. Michael Federico
Michael Federico is an American baseball coach, currently serving as the head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Federico attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi and played on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team. Federico served as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Memphis from 2005 to 2009, and at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2010 to 2017. Federico was named head baseball coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on June 27, 2017. West Monroe, Louisiana
West Monroe is a city in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is situated on the Ouachita River, across from the neighboring city of Monroe. The two cities are often referred to as the Twin Cities of northeast Louisiana. Its population was 13,065 at the 2010 census and it is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. Watson, Louisiana
Watson is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community is in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Watson Post Office was established on February 20, 1894, by George A. Watson. The first Live Oak School was built in 1895 on land donated by Rev. Joel Ott. Several buildings were used for classes there, until the present site was purchased and a two-story school built. Published histories of Live Oak Methodist Church state that the first church was built not more than a quarter-mile from the present site prior to the Civil War. It was destroyed by Union soldiers. Leawood, Kansas
Leawood is a city in Johnson County, Kansas, United States, and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 33,902. History 19th century After the 1803 Louisiana Purchase, the area east of present-day Leawood opened for settlement. The Santa Fe Trail which ran through the area also contributed to the development of the area. Acadiana High School is located in Scott, Louisiana, United States. Acadiana High School opened in 1969 following the consolidation of Judice High School, located in Judice Community, and Scott High School, located in Scott. Donald Aguillard, a former assistant principal at Acadiana High, was among those parties who challenged the Louisiana Balanced Treatment Act regarding evolution and creation science, a measure authored by then State Senator Bill P.
