Melbourne Sports Centres - MSAC is an international sporting venue located in Albert Park, Victoria, Australia. The centre was opened on 24 July 1997 at a construction cost of A$65 million. The cost was funded by the State Government of Victoria and the City of Port Phillip. The centre has hosted international events including the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2007 World Aquatics Championships. The centre has several swimming pools and international standard diving facilities. Kira Toussaint
Kira Marije Toussaint (born 22 May 1994) is a Dutch competitive swimmer who specialises in backstroke. She is the former world record holder in the short course 50 metre backstroke and the Dutch record holder in the long course 50 metre backstroke and 100 metre backstroke, and the short course 50 metre, 100 metre, and 200 metre backstroke. She also holds the European record in the long course and short course 50 metre backstroke. At the 2021 FINA Swimming World Cup, Toussaint placed second overall for a competitor of any gender in terms of total points scored and earned 11 gold medals. Erika Brown (born August 27, 1998) is an American swimmer. She qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in the freestyle relay and individual 100m freestyle, placing 2nd in the 100m freestyle final at the US Olympic Team Trials. Career Brown attended William A. Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina. While in high school she was a four-time North Carolina state champion, winning twice in the 200 freestyle and 400 free relay events. Brown would attended college at the University of Tennessee. At Tennessee, Brown earned 21 All-America honors, which included a national championship in the 4x50 medley relay, and 23 Southeastern Conference medals. She was also named the 2020 SEC female Swimmer of the Year. Brown would qualify for the Team USA women's swim team at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She earned a silver medal in the women's 4x100 meter medley relay and a bronze medal in the women's 4x100 meter freestyle relay.
