2022 European Men's Handball Championship Squads
This article displays the squads for the 2022 European Men's Handball Championship. Each team had a provisional list of 35 players. Each roster consisted of up to 20 players, of whom 16 may be fielded for each match. ''Age, club, caps and goals as of 13 January 2022.'' 2022 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2022 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 15th edition of the tournament and the second to feature 24 national teams. It was co-hosted in two countries – Hungary and Slovakia – from 13 to 30 January 2022. It was won by Sweden. The games in Hungary were played with full capacity, while the games in Slovakia were capped at 25% capacity, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jacob Tandrup Holm (born 5 September 1995) is a Danish handball player who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the national team. He represented Denmark at the 2020 European Men's Handball Championship. He debuted for the national team in 2016 in a match against the Feroe Islands. He started playing handball at the age of 7 at Esbjerg Håndbold. At the age of 17 he played his first senior match for Ribe-Esbjerg HH. Hans Aaron Mensing (born 11 November 1997) is a Danish handball player for GOG Håndbold and the Denmark men's national handball team. Mensing was eligible to play international handball for both Germany and Denmark. He chose to represent Denmark and made his debut in April 2021. TSV Hannover-Burgdorf is a handball club from Hannover, Germany, and is competing in the Handball-Bundesliga. History The team is known as DIE RECKEN. The origins of the club lie with the sports association Freie Turnerschaft Burgdorf, which was founded in 1922, with a handball department. Mikkel Hansen (born 22 October 1987) is a Danish handball player for Aalborg Håndbold and the Danish national team. Hansen is regarded as one of the greatest players in handball history, and has been named the IHF World Player of the Year for a record-tying three times. Henrik Toft Hansen (born 18 December 1986) is a Danish professional handball player for Mors-Thy Håndbold and the Danish national team. He is the younger brother of René Toft Hansen. Henrik Møllgaard Jensen (born 2 January 1985) is a Danish handballer for Aalborg Håndbold and the Danish national team. He has previously played in PSG Handball, KIF Kolding, Kongeå HK, Ribe HK and Skjern Håndbold.
