2022 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team
The 2022 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Razorbacks played their home games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and competed in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by third-year head coach Sam Pittman. Arkansas won a bowl game in back-to-back seasons for only the second time in program history, repeating the feat of the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Previous season The Razorbacks finished the 2021 season 8–4, 4–4 in SEC play to finish tied for third place in the West Division. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. Drew Sanders (born December 31, 2001) is an American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Alabama, where he was a member of the team that won the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship, before transferring to Arkansas in 2022. Jadon Haselwood (born April 15, 2001) is an American football wide receiver who is a free agent. He played college football at Oklahoma and Arkansas.
