2022 Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball Team
The 2022 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team represented the University of Arkansas in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Razorbacks played their home games at Baum–Walker Stadium. Previous season The 2021 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team, Razorbacks finished 50–13, 22–8 in the SEC to win the regular season conference title. The Razorbacks also went on to win the 2021 Southeastern Conference baseball tournament. They entered the NCAA tournament as the #1 seed. They hosted the Fayetteville Regional and went 3–1 to advance to Super Regionals. The Razorbacks hosted the Fayetteville Super Regional in which they lost to NC State to close their season. Dave Van Horn
David Kevin Van Horn (born September 17, 1960) is an American baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Playing career Born in Stanton, California, Van Horn graduated from Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1979. He then played junior college baseball at McLennan Community College in Texas for two years, earning all-conference and all-region honors as a freshman, while helping the Highlanders finish third in the JUCO World Series. His next season brought more individual and team success, as the team finished eighth in the nation and Van Horn earned All American and Region 5 Player of the Year accolades. Turning down the Chicago White Sox, who drafted him, he transferred to Arkansas for the 1982 season. Kauffman Stadium (), often called "The K", is a baseball stadium located in Kansas City, Missouri. It is home to the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Olsen Field At Blue Bell Park
Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park is a baseball stadium in College Station, Texas, that is home to the Texas A&M baseball program. The stadium was dedicated on March 21, 1978, and is named in honor of C. E. "Pat" Olsen, a 1923 graduate of Texas A&M University and a former baseball player in the New York Yankees farm system. Olsen Field has served as an NCAA regional site five times and had its 1999 regional attendance ranked second with 53,287. The first NCAA Regional Tournament held at Olsen Field was in 1989.
