The 2022 All-Big Ten Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All-Big Ten Conference players for the 2022 Big Ten Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big Ten selectors: (1) the Big Ten conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first-, second- and third-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big Ten also selected offensive and defensive units and named first-, second- and third-team players (the "Media" team). 2022 Big Ten Conference Football Season
The 2022 Big Ten conference football season is the 127th season of college football play for the Big Ten Conference and part of the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This is the Big Ten's ninth season with 14 teams. Previous season Michigan and Ohio State were co-East Division champions, with the Wolverines making their first appearance Big Ten Championship Game due to their head-to-head win over the Buckeyes in 2021. In the West Division, Iowa won the division title and made their second championship game appearance. In that championship game, Michigan defeated Iowa 42–3 to win the Big Ten championship. With that win, the Wolverines landed a spot in the 2021–22 College Football Playoff as the No. 2 seed. Jayden Reed
Jayden Reed (born April 28, 2000) is an American football wide receiver. He played college football at Western Michigan before transferring to Michigan State in 2019. Early life Reed grew up in Aurora, Illinois. He initially attended Metea Valley High School, where he played football with Michigan State teammate Payton Thorne. As a junior, he caught 23 passes for 403 yards and four touchdowns. Along with Thorne, he transferred to Naperville Central High School before the beginning of his senior year. College career Western Michigan Reed began his collegiate career at Western Michigan. Ryan Hayes (born February 28, 2000) is an American football offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan. Early years Hayes attended Traverse City West Senior High School where he was a two-way, three-sport athlete in high school. Olumuyiwa Anthony Fashanu (born December 9, 2002) is an American football offensive tackle. He played college football at Penn State, earning All-American honors in 2023. Early life and college Fashanu was born on December 9, 2002, in Waldorf, Maryland. He attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.
