2021–22 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2021–22 West Coast Conference men's basketball season will begin with practices in September 2021 and will end with the 2022 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament in March 2022. This will be the 71st season for WCC men's basketball, and the 33nd under its current name of "West Coast Conference". The conference was founded in 1952 as the California Basketball Association, became the West Coast Athletic Conference in 1956, and dropped the word "Athletic" in 1989. Drew Timme
Andrew Matthew Timme (; born September 9, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Early life and high school career Timme grew up in the northern Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas and attended J. J. Pearce High School. As a junior, he averaged 27.7 points, 17.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists and was named the District 8-6A Most Valuable Player and second team All-State by USA Today. Timme was consensus top-50 prospect in the 2019 class among major recruiting services. Gonzaga Bulldogs Men's Basketball
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are an intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Gonzaga University. The school competes in the West Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Gonzaga Bulldogs play home basketball games at the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington, on the university campus. Cincinnati Bearcats
The Cincinnati Bearcats are the athletic teams that represent the University of Cincinnati. Though they will move to the Big 12 Conference (XII) the teams are currently a part of the American Athletic Conference (The American), which from 1979 to 2013 was known as the Big East Conference. Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. (born February 22, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who is the current men's basketball head coach at Santa Clara. Early life Herbert Joseph Sendek, Jr. of Slovak descent, grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Penn Hills High School. San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball
The San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represents the University of San Francisco in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Dons compete in the West Coast Conference, where they have won sixteen regular season championships and one conference tournament championship. The current head coach is Chris Gerlufsen. The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. Sam Scholl
Samuel Elden Scholl (born November 11, 1977) is an American college basketball coach who is the former head men's basketball coach at the University of San Diego. Playing career Scholl started his playing career at Tacoma Community College for two seasons before transferring to the University of San Diego to complete his playing eligibility under Brad Holland with the San Diego Toreros. Coaching career After graduation, Scholl joined Holland's staff and stayed with the Toreros for seven seasons, where he was part of the team's 2003 NCAA tournament appearance.
