The 2021–22 season was Southampton's 10th consecutive season in the Premier League and the 105th season in existence. This season, the club participated in the Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Southampton () is a port city in the ceremonial county of Hampshire in southern England. It is located approximately south-west of London and west of Portsmouth. Theo James Walcott (born 16 March 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Southampton and previously for the English national team. Willy Caballero
Wilfredo Daniel Caballero Lazcano (born 28 September 1981) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Southampton. He spent most of his career in Spain, representing Elche and Málaga and competing in La Liga with the latter club. Thierry Small (born 1 August 2004) is an English footballer who plays as a left-back for club Charlton Athletic. Oliver James Lancashire (born 13 December 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Southampton. Lancashire began his career as a youth player for Crystal Palace before joining Southampton's academy.
