2021–22 Pakistan Women's One Day Cup
The 2021–22 Pakistan Women's One Day Cup was a 50-over women's cricket competition that took place in Pakistan in September 2021. It was the first edition of the competition under its new name, and saw the addition of a new team, PCB Strikers. All matches took place in Karachi, at the National Stadium and the Pakistan Cricket Board Academy Ground. PCB Challengers beat defending champions PCB Blasters in the final by 68 runs to claim their first one-day title. PCB Strikers beat PCB Dynamites in the third place play-off. Competition format The four teams played in a double round-robin group, playing each other team twice. The top two teams in the group advanced to the final, whilst third and fourth played in the third place play-off. Matches were played using a 50 over format. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly known as Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP), is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. Arshad Khan (Pakistani Cricketer)
Arshad Khan (, born 22 March 1971) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who is the current bowling coach of Pakistan women's cricket team. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. A tall man at 6'4", Arshad bowls in a classical off-spinner's mould, preferring a nagging line to any great variation. In 2015, he moved to Sydney, Australia where he worked as a taxi driver for few years before going back to cricket as a coach. Cricket career Arshad was first picked to play against the West Indies during the 1997–98 season, and the following year, was part of the team which won the Asian Test Championship at Dhaka against Sri Lanka. Sidra Ameen
Sidra Ameen (born 7 April 1992) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistan women's national team as a right-handed batter. In June 2022, she crossed 1,000 runs in her ODI career, becoming the 7th Pakistani women batter to go past that milestone. She has also played domestic cricket for Lahore, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, Omar Associates and State Bank of Pakistan.
