2021–22 Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2021–22 Pac-12 Conference men's basketball season began with practices starting in October, followed by the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season which started on November 9. Conference play began on November 28. This was the tenth season under the Pac–12 Conference name and the 62nd since the conference was established under its current charter as the Athletic Association of Western Universities in 1959. Including the history of the Pacific Coast Conference, which operated from 1915 to 1959 and is considered by the Pac-12 as a part of its own history, this was the Pac-12's 106th season of basketball. NCAA Division I (D-I) is the highest level of College athletics, intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States, which accepts players globally. D-I schools include the major collegiate athletic powers, with large budgets, more elaborate facilities and more athletic scholarships than Divisions II and III as well as many smaller schools committed to the highest level of intercollegiate competition. Tyger Campbell
Tyger Campbell (born January 9, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for Saint-Quentin of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball player for the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference. Three times he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors. High school career Campbell is the son of Jennifer and Tony Campbell, who played basketball at Luther College. They named their son after Tiger Woods. Campbell grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, which he credits for his "entry into manhood", adding, "it’s a place where you can learn how to be a good teammate." Marcus Bagley
Marcus Bagley (born October 23, 2001) is an American basketball player for the Delaware Blue Coats of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. High school career As a freshman, Bagley played basketball with his older brother, Marvin III, at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. In his sophomore year, he attended Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, North Carolina, moving close to Marvin, who was playing for Duke. The Bob Cousy Award presented by The College of the Holy Cross (or Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award) is an annual basketball award given by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to the top men's collegiate point guard. Oscar Robertson Trophy
The Oscar Robertson Trophy is given out annually to the outstanding men's college basketball player by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). The trophy is considered to be the oldest of its kind and has been given out since 1959. Naismith College Player Of The Year
The Naismith College Player of the Year is an annual basketball award given by the Atlanta Tipoff Club to the top men's and women's collegiate basketball players. It is named in honor of Dr. James Naismith, the inventor of basketball.
