2021–22 Ohio Bobcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Ohio Bobcats women's basketball team represented Ohio University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bobcats, led by ninth year head coach Bob Boldon, played their home games at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio as a member of the Mid-American Conference. The Bobcats finished non-conference play at 6–3. During a conference win at Central Michigan on January 15, Cece Hooks passed Caroline Mast as the leading scorer in Ohio basketball history. Two games later, against Bowling Green, she passed Toldeo’s Kim Knuth as the leading scorer in MAC basketball history. They finished the regular season 15–13 and 9–10 in the MAC. They were knocked out of the MAC tournament in the quarterfinals by top-seeded Toledo and in the first round of the WNIT by eventual champion South Dakota State. Bob Boldon
Robert John Boldon (born May 1, 1975) is an American women's basketball coach and former basketball player. He is the current head Ohio Bobcats women's basketball, women's basketball coach at Ohio University. He previously held the same position at Youngstown State University, Lambuth University, Lambuth, and University of Arkansas at Monticello, Arkansas-Monticello Playing career Boldon started at point guard for four years and led Walsh to the NAIA Final Four in 1995–96. As a freshman, Boldon averaged 8.2 points and accumulated 163 assists. Over the next three years, Boldon was named First Team All-Mid-Ohio Conference each season, accumulating 204 assists and an average of 12.7 points as a sophomore, 222 assists and an average of 14.5 points as a junior, and 186 assists and an average of 14.3 points as a senior. Conard High School
Frederick U. Conard High School is a public high school in West Hartford, in the U.S. state of Connecticut. It opened in 1957, and was named after Frederick Underwood Conard, president of Niles-Bement-Pond Company and chairman of the local Board of Education when plans for the school were approved. Montini Catholic High School (often shortened to Montini) is a co-educational, college preparatory, high school, run by the La Sallian educational institutions, Christian Brothers in Lombard, Illinois. Thurgood Marshall High School is a public high school in Dayton, Ohio. The school is named for the late African American pioneering civil rights attorney and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. The school was established in 2007. About Thurgood Marshall High School was formed in 2007 after the merger of Colonel White High School and Nettie Lee Roth Middle School. Roth had previously been a high school until it was converted to a middle school in 1982. Thurgood Marshall was built on the former site of Roth and decided to use Colonel White's nickname of the "Cougars."
