Telomerase reverse transcriptase (abbreviated to TERT, or hTERT in humans) is a catalytic subunit of the enzyme telomerase, which, together with the telomerase RNA component (TERC), comprises the most important unit of the telomerase complex. Telomerases are part of a distinct subgroup of RNA-dependent polymerases. Telomerase lengthens telomeres in DNA strands, thereby allowing senescent cells that would otherwise become postmitotic and undergo apoptosis to exceed the Hayflick limit and become potentially immortal, as is often the case with cancerous cells. Athena Manoukian
Athena Manoukian ( gr, Αθηνά Μανουκιάν; ; born 22 May 1994) is a Greek-Armenian singer and songwriter. She was to represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song " Chains on You". Career Manoukian's first experience in the music industry was in 2007, when she participated in and won first prize at a talent contest called "This Is What's Missing", a television program of the Greek channel Alpha TV. A year later, in 2008, she participated in the Greek national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song ''To Fili Tis Aphroditis'' . The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 was the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, following the country's win at the with the song "Arcade" by Duncan Laurence. The Netherlands was set to host the , before it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Resign
Resignation is the formal act of leaving or quitting one's office or position. 2021 Armenian Coup D'état Attempt
The 2021 Armenian political crisis was an alleged military coup attempt by the Armed Forces of Armenia led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan against the government of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
