Hamdan Sports Complex
The Hamdan Sports Complex is a multi-purpose arena, sports arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The arena was completed in summer 2010. It hosted the 2010 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m), in which 153 countries participated. It also hosted the final games of the 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship and the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship. The stadium will host international aquatic events. It has total capacity of 15,000 spectators. Othman Majeed Shvan
Uthman ibn Affan ( ar, عثمان بن عفان, ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān; – 17 June 656), also spelled by Colloquial Arabic, Turkish and Persian rendering Osman, was a second cousin, son-in-law and notable companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, as well as the third of the '' Rāshidun'', or "Rightly Guided Caliphs". Michele Martina (born 18 November 1996) is an Italian karateka. Born in Tivoli, he won the gold medal in the men's kumite 84kg event at the 2018 European Karate Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. He also won the gold medal in this event at the 2023 European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain. Career At the 2018 Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Spain, he won one of the bronze medals in the men's kumite 84kg event. In that same year, Martina won one of the bronze medals in the men's team kumite event at the 2018 World Karate Championships held in Madrid, Spain. Vaidotas Dobrovolskis
Vaidotas (fl. 1362) was a son of Kęstutis, Grand Duke of Lithuania. In reliable historical sources he is mentioned only twice: as defender of Kaunas Castle in 1362 and as ruler of Navahrudak. Due to very limited information, his life is subject to wide-ranging theories by historians. Historical mentions According to the chronicles of Wigand of Marburg, he was the commander of the garrison of the newly built Kaunas Castle during the three-week siege in April 1362. After strong resistance the castle was taken over and then destroyed. Vaidotas with 36 men tried to break through, but was taken prisoner. The defeat was one of the largest and important military victories of the Teutonic Knights in the 14th century against Lithuania. In a 1401 document his brother Grand Duke Vytautas wrote that some years before Vaidotas and his brother Tautvilas Kęstutaitis were given to rule Navahrudak equally, but it is unclear when that occurred.
