2021 Volta A La Comunitat Valenciana
The 2021 Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana ''(English: Tour of the Valencian Community)'' was a road cycling stage race that took place from 14 to 18 April 2021 in the Spanish autonomous community of Valencia. It was the 72nd edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana and a 2.Pro event on the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the 2021 UCI ProSeries calendars. The race was originally scheduled for 3 to 7 February, but due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in the Valencia area leading up to the race, it had to be postponed to 14 to 18 April. Teams Four UCI WorldTeams, eight UCI ProTeams, and three UCI Continental teams make up the fifteen teams that participated in the race. Due to the race's postponement, many of the teams that were initially expected to participate chose not to do so with other race conflicts. 2021 UCI Europe Tour
The 2021 UCI Europe Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 24 January 2021 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premio Valencia and ended on 24 October 2021 with the Ronde van Drenthe. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points are awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. Torrent, Valencia
Torrent ( es, Torrente) is a city located within the metropolitan area of the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the largest municipality of the Horta Oest ''comarca'', with 83,962 inhabitants (2020). It is situated some 7 km from Valencia city proper, to which it is connected via the metro. The two metro stations in Torrent are called ''Torrent'' and ''Torrent Avinguda'' on lines 1, 2 and 7. Miles Scotson (born 18 January 1994) is an Australian track and road cycling racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Scotson was a student at Trinity College Gawler, completing his studies in 2011. Scotson's first professional victory was the 2017 Australian National Road Race Championships.
