2021 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship Qualification
The 2021 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifying competition is a women's under-17 football competition that will determine the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Faroe Islands in the 2021 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2004 were eligible to participate. Apart from the Faroe Islands, 48 of the remaining 54 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition, where the original format consisted of two rounds: Qualifying round, which would have take place in autumn 2020, and Elite round, which would also have taken place in spring 2021. The 2020 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifying competition was a women's under-17 football competition that was originally to determine the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Sweden in the 2020 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship final tournament, before being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Apart from Sweden, 46 of the remaining 54 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 2003 were eligible to participate. Format The qualifying competition consists of two rounds: * Qualifying round: Apart from Spain and Germany, which receive byes to the elite round as the teams with the highest seeding coefficient, the remaining 44 teams are drawn into 11 groups of four teams. 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship
The 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Women's Under-17 Euro 2018) was the 11th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship, the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the women's under-17 national teams of Europe. Lithuania, which were selected by UEFA on 26 January 2015, hosted the tournament from 9 to 21 May 2018. A total of eight teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2001 eligible to participate. Each match had a duration of 80 minutes, consisting of two halves of 40 minutes with a 15-minute half-time. Same as previous editions held in even-numbered years, the tournament acted as the UEFA qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
