The 2021 season initially consisted of eight events, of which four each are one-day races ( 1.Pro) and stage races ( 2.Pro). Of these eight events, the only non-European event was the season-opening Women's Tour Down Under stage race in Australia. However, on 1 November 2020, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving only the seven remaining European races. The other most notable event on the calendar is the Giro Rosa stage race. Though it is usually one of the most prestigious events, it was demoted from the UCI Women's World Tour The UCI Women's World Tour is the premier annual female elite road cycling tour. It was the fifth edition of the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition began with the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race Women on 1 February. The schedule was extensively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in two-thirds of the races on the calendar being either postponed or cancelled outright. As a result, the season was extended until 8 November, when the final stage of the Ceratizit Challenge by la Vuelta took place. Great Britain's Lizzie Deignan became the fifth rider in as many years to win the overall classification, amassing a tally of 1622.33 points for . 2021 Giro Dell'Emilia Internazionale Donne Elite
1 (one, unit, unity) is a number representing a single or the only entity. 1 is also a numerical digit and represents a single unit of counting or measurement. For example, a line segment of ''unit length'' is a line segment of length 1. In conventions of sign where zero is considered neither positive nor negative, 1 is the first and smallest positive integer. It is also sometimes considered the first of the infinite sequence of natural numbers, followed by  2, although by other definitions 1 is the second natural number, following  0. The fundamental mathematical property of 1 is to be a multiplicative identity, meaning that any number multiplied by 1 equals the same number. Most if not all properties of 1 can be deduced from this. In advanced mathematics, a multiplicative identity is often denoted 1, even if it is not a number. 1 is by convention not considered a prime number; this was not universally accepted until the mid-20th century. Additionally, 1 is the s ...

2021 Giro Rosa
The 2021 Giro d'Italia Donne (commonly known as the Giro Rosa) was the 32nd edition of the Giro d'Italia Femminile women's road cycling stage race. The race started on 2 July and finished on 9 July and, as the longest and one of the most prestigious races on the women's calendar, included ten stages covering over across northern Italy. After the COVID-19 pandemic pushed the 2020 edition back to September, the 2021 edition saw the Giro Rosa return to its usual July timeslot. Despite that, the UCI demoted the race from the UCI Women's World Tour after the 2020 season, with the move being attributed to race organizers failing to provide the minimum of 45 minutes of live television coverage required for all top-tier Women's WorldTour races. As a result, this edition will be the race's first as a UCI Women's ProSeries event. However, with the race under new management, race organizers sought to adhere to the UCI's requirements and return the race to the UCI Women's World Tour in ...
