2021 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Under-23 Road Race
The Men's under-23 road race of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 24 September 2021 from Antwerp to Leuven, Belgium. It was the 25th edition of the UCI Road World Championships – Men's under-23 road race, event. The race was won by Italian rider Filippo Baroncini, finishing two seconds ahead of the bunch sprint for silver, won by Biniam Girmay of Eritrea. American rider Luke Lamperti originally finished 10th, but was disqualified after the race by the UCI jury after allegedly causing a Belgian rider to crash earlier in the race. 2021 UCI Road World Championships
The 2021 UCI Road World Championships was the 94th edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. It was held between 19 and 26 September 2021 in the Flanders region of Belgium. The region was chosen in light of the centenary of the world championships with the UCI opting for a return to one of the original founding countries. Fabio Costa (born 27 November 1977 in Camaçari, Bahia) is a former Brazilian goalkeeper. Career Costa played for Brazil under-23 and won the 1996 Toulon Tournament and the 2000 South American Pre-Olympic Tournament.
