2021 Troy Trojans Softball Team
The 2021 Troy Trojans softball team represented Troy University during the 2021 NCAA Division I softball season. The Trojans played their home games at Troy Softball Complex. The Trojans were led by seventh-year head coach Beth Mullins and were members of the Sun Belt Conference. Holly Ward (softball)
Holly Chase Ward (born April 15, 1996) is an American softball player who is currently the Assistant Head Coach at Troy. She attended Haleyville High School in Haleyville, Alabama. She later attended Mississippi State University, where she played pitcher on the Mississippi State Bulldogs softball team. While playing for Mississippi State, Ward threw a perfect game on February 9, 2018; a 10–0 victory in 5 innings over Mississippi Valley State. Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. When a Batter (baseball), batter takes their at bat, turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home plate, home) Umpire (baseball), umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher. The John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium (frequently shortened to Rhoads Stadium) is a college softball stadium located on the campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It serves as the home field of the Alabama Crimson Tide softball team and is located on the corner of Peter Bryce Boulevard and Campus Drive on the northeast corner of campus. The Western Carolina Catamounts are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent Western Carolina University. The Liberty Flames and Lady Flames are the athletics teams of Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. They are a member of the NCAA Division I level in 20 sports.
