2021 Polish Super Cup
The 2021 Polish Super Cup was the 31st Polish Super Cup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. The Ekstraklasa champions Legia Warsaw faced Polish Cup winners Raków Częstochowa. Raków played their first ever Super Cup match, while Legia was playing to win their fifth Super Cup. Cracovia were the defending champions, but failed to qualify to the match indicated. The match finished with a 1–1 draw after regular time. There was no extra-time played. Raków won 4–3 on penalties. Legia Warszawa (), commonly referred to as Legia Warsaw or simply Legia, is a professional football club based in Warsaw, Poland. Legia is the most successful Polish football club in history, winning record 15 Ekstraklasa champions titles, a record 19 Polish Cup and four Polish SuperCup trophies. Fran Tudor (; born 27 September 1995) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a right-back or wing-back for Raków Częstochowa in the Ekstraklasa. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Mateusz Wieteska (born 11 February 1997) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ligue 1 club Clermont and the Poland national team. Lindsay Rose (born 8 February 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Greek Super League club Aris. Born in France, he plays for the Mauritius national team. He was a France youth international and previously played at under-18 and under-19 level. Zoran Arsenić (born 2 June 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Raków Częstochowa, which he captains. Club career Coming from the NK Osijek academy, Arsenić was ceded to NK Višnjevac during his first U19 year, where he gathered a couple of senior caps in the Treća HNL Istok.
