2021 Minneapolis City Council Election
The 2021 Minneapolis City Council elections was held on November 2, 2021, to elect representatives for all 13 wards of the Minneapolis City Council. Robin Wonsley Worlobah
Robin Wonsley (born 1991) is an American activist and politician who has been a member of the Minneapolis City Council from the 2nd Ward since 2021. Early life and education Wonsley was born in Chicago in 1991 and grew up on the South Side. She attended Carleton College as a Posse Foundation Scholar and graduated in 2013 with a B.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies. After graduation, she was awarded a Watson Fellowship that supported her travel to Canada, Australia, South Africa and Ireland, where she studied criminal justice policies and practices. Emily Hofstede Koski is an American businesswoman and politician from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Katie Jones is an American politician and engineer who has represented district 61A in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2025. Aisha Siddida Chughtai (born September 4, 1997) is an American community organizer and politician serving as the vice president of the Minneapolis City Council, representing the 10th Ward. Lisa Goodman (politician)
Lisa Ruth Goodman (born 1966) is an American politician who served as a member of the Minneapolis City Council from the 7th ward. First elected in 1997 and continuously re-elected for 26 years, she was the longest-serving member in council history.
