2021 Grand Prix De Fourmies
The 2021 Grand Prix de Fourmies was the 88th edition of the Grand Prix de Fourmies, a one-day road cycling race in and around Fourmies in northern France. This edition was the race's first in the UCI ProSeries; the 2020 edition was expected to feature in the inaugural UCI ProSeries but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also the ninth event of the 2021 French Road Cycling Cup. Teams Ten of the nineteen UCI WorldTeams, ten UCI ProTeams, and two UCI Continental teams made up the twenty-two teams that participated in the race. All but four teams fielded a full squad of seven riders; , , , and each entered six riders. In total, 150 riders started the race, of which 134 finished. 2021 UCI Europe Tour
The 2021 UCI Europe Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 24 January 2021 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premio Valencia and ended on 24 October 2021 with the Ronde van Drenthe. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points are awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. 2021 French Road Cycling Cup
The 2021 French Road Cycling Cup was the 30th edition of the French Road Cycling Cup. The number of events was restored to 16 as many events returned to the calendar after having been cancelled in the 2020 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France. The pandemic strongly impacted the schedule again, as four events have been rescheduled from spring to autumn. The defending champion from the previous season was Nacer Bouhanni of . Despite winning three races, the most of any rider in this edition of the cup, Elia Viviani () finished second to Dorian Godon (), who won two races and secured five other top-ten finishes. John Degenkolb
John Degenkolb (born 7 January 1989) is a German professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . His biggest wins to date are the 2015 Milan–San Remo and the 2015 Paris–Roubaix, two of cycling's five monuments.
