The 2021 FINA Swimming World Cup was a series of four three-day meets in four different cities in October 2021. This edition was held in the short course (25-meter pool) format. FINA Swimming World Cup
The World Aquatics Swimming World Cup (formerly known as the FINA Swimming World Cup) is an international series of swimming meets organized by World Aquatics (the international governing body formerly known as FINA). Launched in 1988, the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup is staged between August and November every year and attracts a high level of athletes due to the considerable prize money on offer. The event is traditionally held in short course (25m pool) format, with a switch to long course (50m pool) format in pre-Olympics years. Prior to the COVID hiatus in 2020 the event was being held in three clusters, totaling seven three day meets across seven different locations with prize money reaching US$2.5 million. The event resumed in 2021 as four meets each of three days duration, and the 2023 edition was staged as three meets each of three days duration. Fabian Schwingenschlögl (born 15 August 1991) is a German swimmer who specializes in breaststroke. He competed in the medley relay event at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships, winning the bronze medal. He also represented Germany at the 2019 World Championships. He won a 2016 NCAA title representing the University of Missouri in the 100-yard breaststroke. He was a multi-time All-American and swam the breaststroke leg on Missouri's All-American medley relays. Ranomi Kromowidjojo
Ranomi Kromowidjojo (; born 20 August 1990) is a retired Dutch swimmer of mixed Dutch-Javanese Surinamese origin who mainly specialises in sprint freestyle events. She is a triple Olympic champion, winning the gold medal in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay at the 2008 Olympics, and in the 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle at the 2012 Olympics. Kromowidjojo holds the world record as part of the Dutch team in the 4×50 m freestyle relay ( short course). Vladimir Viktorovich Morozov (; born 16 June 1992) is a retired Russian competitive swimmer and Olympic medalist. He is the former world record holder in the short course 100-metre individual medley, the current, World Cup record and Russian national record holder in the 100-metre individual medley and 100-metre freestyle (short course), and Russian record holder in the 50-metre freestyle (short course and long course). He also holds the European record for the 100-metre individual medley. Michelle Coleman (born 31 October 1993) is a Swedish former competitive swimmer specialized in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events.
