2021 Copa Libertadores Femenina
The 2021 Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina was the 13th edition of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Femenina (also referred to as the ''Copa Libertadores Femenina''), South America's premier women's club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The competition initially was scheduled to be played from 30 September to 16 October 2021 in Chile. On 29 July 2021, CONMEBOL announced that although the other rounds would be played in Chile, the final match would be played at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay on 24 November 2021. Thus, the final would be played between the 2021 Copa Sudamericana and the men's 2021 Copa Libertadores finals that would also be played in Montevideo. The tournament organizers did not agree with this decision and on 3 August 2021 they communicated to CONMEBOL that Chile would not host the championship. 2009 Copa Libertadores Femenina
The 2009 Copa Libertadores de Fútbol Femenino (officially Copa Santander Libertadores de Fútbol Femenino 2009) for sponsorship reasons) was the first edition of the Copa Libertadores Femenina, CONMEBOL's premier annual international women's club tournament. The competition was played in Santos, São Paulo and Guarujá, Brazil, from October 3 to October 18, 2009. Santos defeated Universidad Autónoma 9–0 to win their first Copa Libertadores Femenina title. Format The cup was played by ten teams: one from each CONMEBOL country. The ten teams were divided in two groups of five clubs each for the First Stage. The Primera División A is the main league competition for women's football in Argentina. The tournament is ruled by the Argentine Football Association (AFA), with its first season held in 1991. The competition was named "Campeonato de Fútbol Femenino" until 2016, when a second division (" Primera División B") was created so the championship was renamed to "Primera A" as it represents the first level on pyramid. Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro is the women's football section of the homonymous sports club based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They currently play in the Campeonato de Fútbol Femenino. Avaí Futebol Clube () is a Brazilian football team from Florianópolis in Santa Catarina, founded on 1 September 1923. Estadio Gran Parque Central
The Estadio Gran Parque Central is the stadium of Club Nacional de Football. It is located in Montevideo, Uruguay, near Nacional headquarters (exactly between the streets Carlos Anaya, Jaime Cibils, General Urquiza and Comandante Braga), in the La Blanqueada neighbourhood. Due to various factors, it is considered a historical stadium. Built in 1900, it is the oldest current stadium in America and the fifteenth in the world. But it mainly stands out for having hosted the 1930 FIFA World Cup, playing one of the first two matches in the history of the competition, when on 13 July 1930 United States defeated Belgium 3–0 in Group D.
