2021 Basketball League Of Serbia Playoffs
The 2021 Basketball League of Serbia playoffs are the play-off tournament that decides the winner of the 2020–21 Basketball League of Serbia season. The playoffs is scheduled to start on 27 May and end on 13 June 2021. Qualified teams Personnel and sponsorship Bracket Quarterfinals The quarterfinals are scheduled between 27 May–1 June 2021. 2020–21 Basketball League Of Serbia
The 2020–21 Basketball League of Serbia ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашка лига Србије 2020–21.) is the 15th season of the Basketball League of Serbia, the top-tier professional basketball league in Serbia. Also, it's the 77th national championship played by Serbian clubs inclusive of the nation's previous incarnations as Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. The season is the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia. The Basketball Federation of Serbia ruled that the 13 teams from the previous season will stay in the league and the three highest-placed clubs from Second League will be promoted. The first-placed team from the previous season, Borac, joins the ABA League. Crvena zvezda mts is the defending champion. The First League began on 25 September 2020. Strajin Nedović ( sr-cyr, Страјин Недовић; born 7 August 1976) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for Zlatibor of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League Second Division. Playing career As a basketball player, Nedović almost played his entire career with Zlatibor. The only period out of Zlatibor was in the 1995–96 season when he played for Radnički Obrenovac. Novica Veličković ( sr-cyr, Новица Величковић; born 5 October 1986) is a Serbian former professional basketball player who is the team manager for Mega Basket of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League. Dragan Jakovljević ( sr-cyr, Драган Jaкoвљeвић; born 18 April 1973) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. Milenko Tepić ( sr, Миленко Тепић; born February 27, 1987) is a Serbian professional basketball executive and former player. He is 2.02 m (6 ft 7.5 in) tall, and a combo guard-point forward. Professional career Tepić began his career playing with the KK Sports World youth teams in Serbia. He made his professional debut with the NIS Vojvodina in 2002.
