The 2021 season was AIK 130th in existence, their 93nd season in Allsvenskan and their 16th consecutive season in the league. Season events On 23 December 2020, AIK announced that Samuel Brolin had joined Mjällby on a season-long loan deal for the upcoming season. On 21 January, AIK announced the signing of Jetmir Haliti from Jönköpings Södra to a three-year contract. On 1 February, AIK announced that they'd agreed a deal with Groningen for Paulos Abraham, that would see him initially join the Eredivisie club on loan, and then join permanently on 1 July. On 22 February, AIK announced the signing of Lucas Forsberg from Sollentuna to a three-year contract. AIK Fotboll (), more commonly known simply as AIK (), an abbreviation for Allmänna Idrottsklubben (meaning ''the public'' or ''general sports club''), is a Swedish football club competing in Allsvenskan, the top flight of Swedish football. The club was founded 1891 in Stockholm and the football department was formed in 1896. AIK's home ground is Friends Arena, located in Solna, just north of Stockholm City Centre. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. The league was founded in 1956, two years after the start of professional football in the Netherlands. It is considered one of the best European leagues. Henry Atola
Henry Atola Meja (born 21 December 2001) is a Kenyan footballer who plays for Norrby IF on loan from AIK, and the Kenyan national team. He previously played for Kenyan Premier League club Tusker. Club career Meja came up through the ranks of Green Commandos SC of the National Super League. Felix Michel Melki
George Felix Robert Michel Melki ( ar, جورج فيليكس روبير ميشيل ملكي, ; born 23 July 1994), known as Felix Michel Melki,) in Arabic. is a professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for club Ahed and the Lebanon national team. Kristoffer Nordfeldt
Bo Kristoffer Nordfeldt (born 23 June 1989) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for AIK and the Swedish national team. Club career IF Brommapojkarna Nordfeldt began his career in IF Brommapojkarna, famous for its academy. He was promoted to the first team for the season of 2006, when the team was playing in Superettan. Nordfeldt did not play any league matches that year or the following year when the team was playing for the first time in Allsvenskan. In 2008, IF Brommapojkarna were back in Superettan and both goalkeepers, Mattias Asper and Kristoffer Björklund, had left the club. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Eric Kahl
Eric Andre Kahl (born 27 September 2001) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Danish Superliga club AGF. Kahl has represented AIK since he was 4 years old, when he joined the clubs academy. From there he has gone from youth and junior teams all the way to the first squad. Kahl signed in October 2019 his first professional contract with the club. He has since played over 30 games and has been one of the decisive players in the team. Robin Amin Tihi (born 16 March 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Qatar Stars League club Al Ahli. Born in Sweden, Tihi represents Finland internationally.
