Rochdale ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, at the foothills of the South Pennines in the dale (landform), dale on the River Roch, northwest of Oldham and northeast of Manchester. Ryan McLaughlin (born 30 September 1994) is a Northern Irish footballer who last played as a right back for Morecambe, and the Northern Ireland national football team. Club career Liverpool Liverpool signed 16-year-old Ryan McLaughlin in the summer of 2011 from Glenavon on a three-year deal. On 9 January 2014, McLaughlin was signed by Football League Championship side Barnsley on a 28-day loan deal and was given squad number 27. He made his club and senior career debut on 18 January against Blackpool in the Championship. On 29 January 2014 it was announced that McLaughlin sustained an injury that will keep him out for four weeks. Two days later his loan was extended until the end of the season. Haydon Cameron Roberts (born 10 May 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back & centre back for Championship side Bristol City. Club career Brighton & Hove Albion Roberts made his professional and first team debut for Brighton & Hove Albion, whose academy he had progressed from, on 25 September 2019 in the EFL Cup at home against Aston Villa where he scored Brighton's only goal in a 3–1 defeat. Eoghan O'Connell
Eoghan O'Connell (born 13 August 1995) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Wrexham. He began his youth playing career in the Republic of Ireland, joined the academy of Scottish club Celtic in 2011 and made his first-team debut three years later. While at the club he was loaned to Oldham Athletic, Cork City and Walsall. Paul David McShane (born 6 January 1986) is an Irish professional football coach and former player who is currently the Professional Development Phase coach at Premier League side Manchester United. Born in Wicklow, Ireland, McShane moved to England when he was 16 to play for Manchester United, with whom he won the 2003 FA Youth Cup. He had loan stints with Walsall and Brighton & Hove Albion before making a permanent move to West Bromwich Albion in 2006. Jimmy McNulty (footballer)
Jimmy McNulty (born 13 February 1985) is a former professional footballer who played as a centre back for, and is manager of, club Rochdale. Career Born in Runcorn, Cheshire, McNulty had trials at both Liverpool and Everton as a schoolboy before choosing to join the latter's academy set-up. McNulty then signed for Wrexham after being released. After several years at Wrexham, he became their reserve team captain. However, he made only one senior appearance for the team as a substitute for Steve Roberts against Stockport County in the Football League Trophy on 5 November 2003; Wrexham lost the game in a 5–4 defeat.
