2020–21 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by fifth-year head coach Josh Pastner and played their home games at Hank McCamish Pavilion as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, COVID-19 pandemic, the Yellow Jackets finished the season 17–9, 11–6 in 2020–21 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season, ACC play to finish in fourth place. Josh Pastner
Joshua Paul Pastner (born September 26, 1977) is an American college basketball coach, and the current head coach of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Pastner was a player on the 1997 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball national championship team, and an assistant coach at the University of Arizona under Lute Olson and at the Memphis Tigers men's basketball, University of Memphis under John Calipari. He was named the 2013 ''Sporting News'' Conference USA Coach of the Year, and the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. 2019–20 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2019, followed by the start of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play started in late December 2019 and concluded in March with the 2020 ACC men's basketball tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The season marks 66th season of Atlantic Coast Conference basketball. The post season was cut short due to the COVID-19 outbreak. On March 12, the NCAA announced the tournament would be cancelled, along with all remaining winter and spring championships.
