2020–21 Elon Phoenix Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Elon Phoenix men's basketball team represented Elon University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Phoenix, led by second-year head coach Mike Schrage, play as seventh-year members of the Colonial Athletic Association and play their home games at the Schar Center. Previous season The Phoenix finished the 2019–20 season 13–21, 7–11 in CAA play to finish in seventh place. They played in the 2020 CAA men's basketball tournament, where they defeated 10seed James Madison in the first round, upset 2seed William & Mary in the quarterfinals, and lost to 6seed Northeastern in the semifinals. Mike Schrage
Mike Schrage (born April 2, 1976) is an American basketball coach, currently a Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Duke University. He was formerly the head coach for the Elon Phoenix men's basketball team. He has a wife (Amanda) and two children (Andrew and Sophie) Coaching career While a student at Indiana University Bloomington, Schrage was a manager and student assistant with the men's basketball team. After graduation, he was hired as the director of operations at Ole Miss, where he stayed for one season before joining the academic support staff at Duke. Schrage served in that role until 2002, when he was promoted to director of basketball operations, a role he stayed in until 2008 when he joined Johnny Dawkins' staff at Stanford as an assistant coach. Arendell Parrott Academy
Arendell Parrott Academy is a non-sectarian private school located in Kinston, North Carolina, for grades K–12. The school was the vision of Marion Parrot, a local attorney and state representative. After struggling for a few years to gain support, the untimely death of their son, Arendall, provided the inspiration to Parrott family to open the school. However, their efforts did not come to fruition for several years, when Federally forced desegregation of the public schools created an interest among White Parents to flee to private schools. Northfield Mount Hermon School, often called NMH, is a co-educational preparatory school in Gill, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a member of the Eight Schools Association. Present day NMH offers nearly 200 courses, including AP and honors classes in every discipline.
