2020–21 Clemson Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Clemson Tigers men's basketball team represented Clemson University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Tigers were led by eleventh-year head coach Brad Brownell and played their home games at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carolina as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tigers finished the season 16–8, and 10–6 in ACC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. As the fifth seed in the ACC tournament they earned a bye into the Second Round where they lost to Miami. They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as a seven seed in the Midwest Region. They lost in the first round to 10 seed Rutgers. Previous season The Tigers finished the 2019–20 season 16–15, 9–11 in ACC play to finish in eighth place. Brad Brownell
Bradley Robert Brownell (born November 15, 1968) is an American college basketball coach and most recently the previous head basketball coach at Clemson University. Prior to coming to Clemson, he held the same position at Wright State and UNC Wilmington. He has most recently coached his 13th season at Clemson, losing in the first round of the NIT tournament to Morehead State. Early life Born in Evansville, Indiana, Brownell played high school basketball at William Henry Harrison High School with current Indiana Pacers assistant of player development and Indiana University player Calbert Cheaney. Brownell graduated from DePauw University in 1991, where he was a member of the basketball team and the Sigma Chi fraternity. He immediately went into coaching after graduating. Olivier-Maxence Prosper
Olivier-Maxence Prosper ( ; born July 3, 2002) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Clemson Tigers and the Marquette Golden Eagles. Early life and high school Prosper grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Prosper's father Gaetan moved to Montreal from Haiti as a child. He initially attended L'Académie Ste-Thérèse, which did not have a basketball team. When Prosper was 16 he enrolled at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, Illinois. Prosper transferred to the NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico City, Mexico to finish his high school career. UAB Blazers Men's Basketball
The UAB Blazers men's basketball team represents the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the NCAA Division I men's college basketball, and have competed in Conference USA (C-USA) since 1995. History The UAB Blazers started their athletics program with the creation of men's basketball in 1978. Setting high standards from the start, UAB was able to lure Gene Bartow away from his post as the head coach at UCLA to start the Blazer program. Known as the "Father of UAB athletics," Coach Bartow was able to guide the Blazers to early success by reaching the NCAA tournament in just their third season of existence. Trey Jemison
Richard Lee "Trey" Jemison III (born November 28, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Clemson Tigers and UAB Blazers. High school career Jemison was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He spent his freshman year at Ramsay High School. USC Upstate Spartans Men's Basketball
The USC Upstate Spartans men's basketball team represents the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. The school's team formerly competed in the ASUN Conference, but moved to the Big South Conference in 2018–19. They are currently led by Head Coach Dave Dickerson and play their home games at the G. Tevin Stanvontae Mack (born May 1, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for Karditsa of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Clemson Tigers.
