The 2020 Texas Republican presidential primary took place in Texas, United States, on March 3, 2020, as one of 13 contests scheduled on Super Tuesday in the Republican Party primaries for the 2020 presidential election. The 2020 Tennessee Republican presidential primary took place on March 3, 2020, as one of fourteen contests scheduled for Super Tuesday in the Republican Party presidential primaries for the 2020 United States presidential election, 2020 presidential election. Results Incumbent United States President of the United States, President Donald Trump was challenged by two candidates: former congressman Joe Walsh (American politician), Joe Walsh of Illinois, and former governor Bill Weld of Massachusetts. Walsh withdrew from the race prior to the primary. There was also an uncommitted option on the ballot. Trump won the state in a landslide victory over Walsh and Weld. The 2020 Texas Democratic presidential primary took place on March 3, 2020, as one of 15 contests scheduled on Super Tuesday in the Democratic Party primaries for the 2020 presidential election, following the South Carolina primary the weekend before. Bailey County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. It is in West Texas and its county seat is Muleshoe. As of the 2020 census, its population was 6,904. History In 1876, the Texas Legislature established Bailey County from portions of Bexar County, naming it for Peter James Bailey, a defender of the Alamo. (See List of Texas county name etymologies.)
