The 2020 Stanford Cardinal men's soccer team represented Stanford University during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. They were led by ninth year head coach Jeremy Gunn. Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on August 13, 2020, the Pac-12 Conference postponed all fall sports through the end of the calendar year. On November 4, 2020, the NCAA approved a plan for college soccer to be played in the spring. Jeremy Gunn
Jeremy Gunn is an English retired association football midfielder who is the head men's soccer coach at Stanford University. He played professionally in the USISL. Player Gunn played in both the Grimsby Town F.C. and Scunthorpe United F.C. youth systems in his native England before coming to the United States. He attended Cal State Bakersfield where he was a 1992 First Team NCAA Division II All American soccer player. In 1993, he joined the Chico Rooks of the USISL. In 1998, he moved to the Nashville Metros. On 29 May 1998, the Metros traded Gunn to the Charleston Battery for John Jones and a 1999 draft pick. Coach Even while playing professionally, Gunn was also coaching. In 1993, he became an assistant at Cal-State Bakersfield. In 1999, he became the head coach of the Fort Lewis College soccer team. Wallis Annenberg Stadium
Wallis Annenberg Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located on the campus of University of California, Los Angeles. The stadium is home to the UCLA Bruins men's and women's soccer programs, and replaced Drake Stadium as the home venue for the two programs. Construction on the stadium was funded with private donations, and began in the Fall of 2016. Ahead of the 2018 men's and women's seasons, the stadium opened. The stadium is named for Wallis Annenberg of the Annenberg Foundation. Dylan Harvey Aluli Teves (born May 14, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Seattle Sounders FC in Major League Soccer. Career Teves was part of the Seattle Sounders FC academy, and appeared for their USL affiliate side Seattle Sounders FC 2 during their 2017 and 2018 seasons. Gloire Amanda (born November 11, 1998) is a professional soccer player who currently plays for Whitecaps FC 2. Born in Tanzania, he represented Canada at youth international level. Oregon State Beavers Men's Soccer
The Oregon State Beavers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Oregon State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The team was founded in 1988 and has competed in 26 college soccer seasons since that time. The Beavers qualified for the NCAA tournament on six occasions, making their deepest run in the tournament in 2021 where they reached the quarterfinals.
