2020 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The 2020 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships is the 36th edition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships, which took place on 26–29 November 2020 at the Palace of Sports in Kyiv, Ukraine. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many competitors withdrew from the competition, such as Russia, Italy, and the Belarusian and Bulgarian groups. Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are the European championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1978. The European Championships and the European Junior Championships were united in 1993. Prior to 2006, they were called the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. The competition is organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. Yelyzaveta Luzan (born 14 March 2003) is a Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnast. As a member of the Azerbaijan group, she is the 2022 World 3 Ribbons + 2 Balls bronze medalist. She is the 2020 European group all-around silver medalist and 2022 European group all-around bronze medalist. She represented Azerbaijan at the 2020 Summer Olympics. As an individual, she represented Azerbaijan at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and won a gold medal in the mixed team event. Career Luzan began rhythmic gymnastics when she was eight years old. Zeynab Hummatova (born 6 December 1999) is an Azerbaijani group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World 3 ribbons + 2 balls bronze medalist. She is the 2020 European group all-around silver medalist and 2022 European group all-around bronze medalist. Career Hummatova began gymnastics when she was six years old. Laman Alimuradova (born 29 November 2004) is an Azerbaijani group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World 3 ribbons + 2 balls bronze medalist. Ilona Zeynalova
İlona Zeynalova (born 09 January 2005) is an Azeri rhythmic gymnast. She represents her country at international competitions. Career Zeynalova made her international debut when she was selected to participate in the 2020 European Championships in Kyiv along Narmin Bayramova, Leyli Aghazada, Alina Gozalova and the senior group, achieving the bronze medal in the team category. Alina Gozalova
Alina Gozalova (born 16 February 2006) is an Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnast. She represent her country in international competitions. Career Gonzalova debuted at the 2019 Happy Cup in Gent where she won gold with ball. A year later she was selected to participate in the 2020 European Championships in Kyiv along Narmin Bayramova, Leyli Aghazada, Ilona Zeynalova and the senior group, achieving the bronze medal in the team category.
