2020 Pan Am Badminton Championships
The XXIV 2020 Pan Am Badminton Championships is a continental championships tournament of badminton in Pan America. This tournament were held as two events in different countries. From 13 to 16 February, the team event was held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. From 23 to 26 April, the individual event was planned to be held in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Tournament The team event of 2020 Pan Am Badminton Championships officially Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2020, is a continental stage tournament of 2020 Thomas & Uber Cup, and also to crown the best men's and women's badminton team in Pan America. This event organized by the Badminton Pan Am and Confederação Brasileira de Badminton. 13 teams, consisting of 6 men's teams and 7 women's teams entered the tournament. Brian Yang (badminton)
Brian Yang (born 25 November 2001) is a Canadian badminton player. He was an integral part of the Team Alpha that won the mixed team relay gold at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. Career In 2016, he won three gold medals at the U–19 Pan Am Junior Championships, winning the boys' doubles, mixed doubles, and team events. Yang won his first senior international title at 2017 Suriname International in the men's singles. In July, he won the boys' singles and mixed doubles titles at the Pan Am Junior Championships, while the Canada team captured the silver medal. Yang represented Canada in the 2018 Commonwealth Games and Thomas Cup. At the El Salvador International, he won two titles in the men's singles and mixed doubles. Vinson Chiu
Vinson Chiu (born August 8, 1998) is an American badminton player. He won a silver medal with his partner Joshua Yuan (badminton), Joshua Yuan in the men's doubles at the 2022 Pan Am Badminton Championships, 2022 Pan Am Championships. Chiu also won a silver and a bronze at the 2016 Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships, Pan Am Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and mixed doubles.
