2020 Mugello Formula 3 Round
The 2020 Mugello FIA Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held on 12 and 13 September 2020 at the Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy. It was the final round of the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and ran in support of the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix. Oscar Piastri would be crowned champion after Logan Sargeant collided with Lirim Zendeli in Race 2, and Theo Pourchaire failed to outscore him. Entries With Pierre-Louis Chovet returning to Formula Regional, Hitech Grand Prix tried to poach Igor Fraga to race for them in the final round. However, Fraga's team Charouz Racing System blocked the move, and both teams raced with only two cars that weekend, those of Liam Lawson and Dennis Hauger, and Michael Belov and Roman Staněk respectively. Liam Lawson (born 11 February 2002) is a New Zealand motor racing driver set to compete in the 2023 Super Formula Championship with Team Mugen. Oscar Piastri (born 6 April 2001) is an Australian racing driver who previously served as the reserve driver for Alpine F1 Team, having previously been in the team's driver academy. He won the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup with R-ace GP, and won the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship and 2021 Formula 2 Championship with Prema Racing. He is only the sixth driver to win the GP2/Formula 2 Championship in their rookie season, and the fifth driver to win the GP3/Formula 3 Championship and the GP2/Formula 2 Championship in consecutive seasons. Jack Doohan (born 20 January 2003) is an Australian race car driver serving as reserve driver for Alpine F1 Team and currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Invicta Virtuosi Racing. He is the 2021 FIA Formula 3 vice-champion and a former member of the Red Bull Junior Team. He is the son of motorcycle rider Mick Doohan, who is a five-time 500cc world champion. Sebastián Fernández Wahbeh (born 12 July 2000 in Caracas) is a Venezuelan-Spanish racing driver. Dennis Hauger (; born 17 March 2003) is a Norwegian racing driver set to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship with MP Motorsport. 2020 Formula Regional European Championship
The 2020 Formula Regional European Championship was a multi-event, Formula 3 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship featured a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula 3 cars that conformed to the FIA Formula 3 regulations for the championship. This was the second season of the championship. The season started on 31 July at Misano Circuit and concluded on 6 December at Autodromo Vallelunga, after eight meetings. Gianluca Petecof won the drivers' championship at the last race, while Prema Powerteam defended the teams' title. Although Petecof came out victorious in the championship, he did not amass the highest number of race wins, with four compared to his teammates' Arthur Leclerc and Oliver Rasmussen six victories.
