2020 Malmö FF Season
The 2020 season is Malmö FF's 109th in existence, their 85th season in Allsvenskan and their 20th consecutive season in the league. They are competing in Allsvenskan, the 2019–20 Svenska Cupen where they finished as runners-up, the 2020–21 Svenska Cupen, the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the round of 32, and the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the play-off round. The season began with the first leg of the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League on 20 February, league play started on 15 June and is scheduled to conclude on 6 December. The season has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, delaying the start of Allsvenskan from April until June, and the knock-out stage of Svenska Cupen from March and April until June and July. Malmö FF
Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF, Malmö, or MFF, is a professional football club and the most successful football club in Sweden in terms of trophies won. Formed in 1910 and affiliated with the Scania Football Association, Malmö FF is based at Eleda Stadion in Malmö, Scania. The club has won a record 22 Swedish championship titles and the most national cup titles with 15. Malmö FF won its first Championship in 1944. The powerhouse of Swedish football in recent years, Malmö FF also saw glory in the 1970s, winning five Swedish championships and four Svenska Cupen titles. Malmö FF remains the only club from the Nordic countries to have reached the final of the European Cup, the predecessor of the UEFA Champions League. Uwe Rösler
Uwe Rösler (; born 15 November 1968) is a German football manager and former professional footballer. As a player he was a centre forward, notably playing in the Premier League for Manchester City, where he was the leading goalscorer for three consecutive seasons from 1994-95 to 1996-97, and in the Bundesliga for 1. FC Nürnberg and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, he played in the UEFA Champions League with the latter. Anel Ahmedhodžić
Anel Ahmedhodžić (; born 26 March 1999) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Sheffield United and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Ahmedhodžić started his professional career at Nottingham Forest, before joining Malmö FF in 2019. In his first season at Malmo, he was loaned to Danish Superliga team Hobro IK. He appeared frequently for Malmö in the 2020 and 2021 Allsvenskan seasons before joining Bordeaux on loan in January 2022. Felix Beijmo
Felix Olof Allan Nelson Beijmo (born 31 January 1998) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender for AGF, on loan from Malmö FF. Club career Youth career Beijmo started out playing for IF Brommapojkarna at age seven, leaving his local club Ängby IF. He took part in the TV4-show called Fotbollsfabriken (The Football factory) which plotted the best 15-years old players in the academy of IF Brommapojkarna. Djurgårdens IF On 30 March 2017, Beijmo signed a four year-deal with Allsvenskan side Djurgårdens IF. He chose Djurgården after stiff competition for his signature from Malmö FF among others. Ola Toivonen
Nils Ola Toivonen (; born 3 July 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or forward. After beginning his career in his home town team of Degerfors, he spent time in the top flight for Örgryte before he got signed by Malmö FF before the 2007 season. Having spent two seasons with Malmö, breaking through with 14 league goals in 2008, he joined Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven in January 2009. Toivonen remained there for five-and-a-half seasons, winning the KNVB Cup in 2012, until a €2.5 million move to Rennes. After a successful spell with Rennes in Ligue 1, Toivonen represented Sunderland in the Premier League before returning to France in 2016 to suit up for Toulouse. Guillermo Federico Molins Palmeiro (; born 26 September 1988) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Sarpsborg 08. Beginning his career with Malmö FF in 2006, he has gone on to play professionally in Belgium, Spain, China, Greece, and Norway. A full international between 2010 and 2014, he has won six caps and scored one goal for the Sweden national team. Arnór Ingvi Traustason
Arnór Ingvi Traustason (born 30 April 1993) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays for Swedish club IFK Norrköping as a midfielder. Club career While at Keflavik, Arnór Ingvi was named as the most promising player of the 2013 Úrvalsdeild after the season by his fellow Úrvalsdeild players. Oscar Lewicki
Carl Oscar Johan Lewicki (, ; born 14 July 1992) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Allsvenskan club Malmö FF. Born in Malmö, Lewicki started off his career with Malmö FF before joining FC Bayern Munich's youth organization in 2008. In 2011, Lewicki returned to his native Sweden to play for BK Häcken. In 2015, he rejoined his boyhood club Malmö FF with which he has won the 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2021 Allsvenskan titles. Behrang Safari ( fa, بهرنگ صفری, ; born 9 February 1985) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Starting off his professional career with Malmö FF in 2004, he went on to represent FC Basel and RSC Anderlecht before retiring at Malmö in 2020.
