2020 Finnish Men's Curling Championship
The 2020 Finnish Men's Curling Championship () was held at the Kisakallio Sport Institute in Lohja from December 5, 2019 to February 9, 2020. The team skipped by Kalle Kiiskinen won the championship (Kiiskinen won his ninth title as player but fifth title as skip). The 2020 Finnish Women's Curling Championship was held simultaneously with this championship at the same arena. Lohja
Lohja (; sv, Lojo) is a city and municipality in the Uusimaa region of Finland. The city has a population of 47,518 (2017), and it covers an area of of which , or 8.3 percent, is water. Kasper Hakunti
Kasper Hakunti (born November 17, 1988) is a Finnish curler. Hakunti competed at the 2015 Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, as vice-skip for the Finnish national curling team. Hakunti previously curled with Markku Uusipaavalniemi from 2009–11, and was the fourth for the Finnish team at the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships in Flims, Switzerland ). Harjavalta
Harjavalta () is a town and municipality in Finland. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Satakunta region, southeast of Pori. The town has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . Today people in the town are employed in the copper and nickel smelting industries. Today's most used metal recovery method, the flash smelting method, was developed at Harjavalta and implemented in 1949. Originally part of Outokumpu, a Finnish company, the copper business is now owned by Boliden and the nickel business by Norilsk Nickel. Hiittenharju is a ridge in Harjavalta, known for its archaeology and cultural history. The banks of the ancient Litorina Sea lies on the fringes of the Hiittenharju ridge. In the Hiittenharju area Bronze Age graves, called barrows, have been discovered, and there is also a historical route called Huovintie running through Hiittenharju.
