2020 FC Dallas Season
The 2020 FC Dallas season was the club's 25th season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of American soccer. FC Dallas was also to participate in the U.S. Open Cup before its cancelation due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America. On March 12, the season entered a month-long suspension due to COVID-19, following the cancellation of several matches. On March 19, the suspension was extended until May 10, and on April 17, the suspension was extended further to June 8. On May 1, the league announced that players will be allowed to resume individual outdoor training at MLS facilities on May 6. On June 10, MLS announced that a bracket format dubbed the "MLS is Back Tournament" would begin July 8 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World, and end with the final on August 11. FC Dallas is an American professional Association football, soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference (MLS), Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). The franchise began play in 1996 as a charter club of the league. Seattle Redhawks Men's Soccer
The Seattle U Redhawks men's soccer program represents the Seattle University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1967, the Redhawks compete in the Western Athletic Conference. The Redhawks are coached by Pete Fewing, who has coached the team for 25 years. Seattle U plays their home matches at Championship Field, on the campus of Seattle University. Over the course of the program's history, the Redhawks have played at various levels of collegiate athletics. In 2004 they won the NCAA Div II National Championship. Nkosi Tafari Burgess (born March 23, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club FC Dallas. Career College Tafari began playing college soccer at the University of Connecticut in 2015. Edwin Munjoma (born July 18, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL Championship. Career Youth & College Munjomoa joined the FC Dallas academy in 2011, before heading to Southern Methodist University to play college soccer. At SMU, Munjoma made 66 appearances, scoring 12 goals and tallying 22 assists.
