2020 Berlin EPrix
The 2020 Berlin ePrix (formally the 2020 Berlin E-Prix presented by CBMM Niobium) was a series of six Formula E races held at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit at Tempelhof Airport in the outskirts of Berlin between 5 and 13 August 2020. It formed the final six races of the 2019–20 Formula E season and was the sixth edition of the Berlin ePrix. The event was promoted as ''9 Days, 6 Races, 3 Tracks, 1 Champion''; and ''The Season Six Finale''. Berlin EPrix
The Berlin ePrix is an annual race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in Berlin, Germany. It was first raced in the 2014–15 season. Circuits Tempelhof Airport The 2015 Berlin ePrix took place at a temporary circuit at Tempelhof Airport, that was 2.469 km long with 17 turns. But because Tempelhof Airport was used for housing refugees in 2016, the second edition could not take place there. The race returned to Tempelhof Airport in 2017 with an updated layout that features 10 turns and 2.250 km long. It is the only circuit on the calendar to feature old concrete that offers low grip and high tyre wear, as used in the airport, long turns, an indoor tunnel and a wide circuit. The 2020 edition of the event is planned to have 3 doubleheader races, with each doubleheader being on a different circuit variation. Sébastien Buemi
Sébastien Olivier Buemi (born 31 October 1988) is a Swiss professional racing driver, who competes in the FIA Formula E Championship for Envision Racing. He competed for Scuderia Toro Rosso in Formula One from 2009 to 2011. After leaving Formula One, Buemi became a reserve driver for Scuderia Toro Rosso's sister team, Red Bull Racing from 2012 to 2013. He returned to Red Bull Racing in 2019 as a reserve driver. Buemi has competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Toyota Gazoo Racing (formerly Toyota Racing) since 2012. He became the 2014 World Endurance Champion in the LMP1 class. Oliver Rowland
Oliver Rowland (born 10 August 1992) is a British racing driver. He is currently competing full-time in Formula E driving for Mahindra Racing. He has previously competed for Manor Motorsport in the 2018 WEC season, and he was also previously the young driver of Williams F1 Team during the 2018 Formula 1 season. Career Karting Born in Barnsley, Rowland began karting at the age of seven, and spent a successful decade racing in the various classes around the United Kingdom. Jean-Éric Vergne (born 25 April 1990), also known as JEV, is a French people, French Auto racing, racing driver who competes in Formula E, the FIA Formula E Championship with Dragon Racing. Edoardo "Edo" Mortara (born 12 January 1987) is a Swiss-Italian- French professional racing driver for Maserati MSG Racing. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, he holds triple nationality from all three countries. He is a former Formula Three Euroseries champion and he almost claimed the DTM title with Audi in 2016. Stoffel Vandoorne (born 26 March 1992) is a Belgian professional racing driver who is currently racing for Dragon Racing in Formula E. Lucas Tucci di Grassi (born 11 August 1984) is a Brazilian professional racing driver who competes in the FIA Formula E World Championship for Mahindra Racing. He became the FIA Formula E Champion in 2016–2017, achieved three overall podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and won the Macau Grand Prix in 2005. Maximilian Günther (born 2 July 1997) is a German racing driver currently competing in Formula E for Maserati MSG Racing. Alexander Sims (born 15 March 1988, in London) is a British professional racing driver, currently competing in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship for Mahindra Racing.
