Eugenie Bouchard and Sofia Kenin were the defending champions, but chose not to participate this year. Asia Muhammad and Taylor Townsend won the title, defeating Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki in the final, 6–4, 6–4. Asia Muhammad
Asia Muhammad (born April 4, 1991) is an American professional tennis player. A doubles specialist, Muhammad has won seven doubles titles on the WTA Tour, four doubles titles on WTA Challenger Tour as well as 13 singles and 35 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. She has reached a WTA 1000 final, at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters with Ena Shibahara, and the semifinals of a major, at the 2020 US Open, partnering with Taylor Townsend. Erin Hope Routliffe (born April 11, 1995) is a New Zealand professional tennis player who previously represented Canada. Alexandra Kiick (; born June 30, 1995) is an American tennis player. Kiick has won seven singles titles and two doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In June 2019, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 126. In May 2014, she peaked at No. 214 in the doubles rankings.
