2019–20 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women Season
The 2019–20 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women season was the club's 35th season in existence but only their first as a professional team having been promoted to the FA Women's Super League, the highest level of the football pyramid, at the end of the 2018–19 season. Along with competing in the WSL, the club also contested two domestic cup competitions: the FA Cup and the League Cup. On 13 March 2020, in line with the FA's response to the coronavirus pandemic, it was announced the season was temporarily suspended until at least 3 April 2020. After further postponements, the season was ultimately ended prematurely on 25 May 2020 with immediate effect. Tottenham () is a town in North London, England, within the London Borough of Haringey. It is located in the ceremonial county of Greater London. FA Women's Cup
The Women's FA Challenge Cup Competition is the top annual cup tournament for women's clubs in English football. Founded in 1970, it has been named the WFA Cup, FA Women's Cup and now Women's FA Cup (Vitality Women's FA Cup for sponsorship reasons). Designed as an equivalent to the FA Cup in men's football, the competition began in 1970–71 as the Mitre Challenge Trophy, organised by the Women's Football Association (WFA). There were 71 entrants, including teams from Scotland and Wales. The WFA ran the competition for the first 23 editions, during which time Southampton Women's won the cup eight times. Megan Wynne
Megan Rose Wynne (born 21 January 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Women's Championship team Southampton F.C. and the Wales national team. She began her career as a youth player with Watford, spending more than ten years with the club and progressing to the club's senior side. Jenna Schillaci (born 21 March 1984) is an English former professional footballer. Primarily a defender, she played for and captained Tottenham Hotspur during their rise from the lower divisions to the FA Women's Super League. Club career Schillaci is from the London Borough of Enfield in north London, England.
