2019–20 Super Smash (women's Cricket)
The 2019–20 Dream11 Super Smash was the thirteenth season of the women's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket competition played in New Zealand. It ran from December 2019 to January 2020, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Wellington Blaze beat Auckland Hearts in the final to win the tournament, their 6th Super Smash title, and third in three seasons. The tournament ran alongside the 2019–20 Hallyburton Johnstone Shield. Competition format Teams played in a double round-robin in a group of six, therefore playing 10 matches overall. Anna Peterson (cricketer)
Anna Michelle Peterson (born 12 September 1990) is a New Zealand former cricketer who played as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. She appeared in 32 One Day Internationals and 33 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand between 2012 and 2020. She played domestic cricket for Northern Districts, Auckland and Typhoons. Amelia Kerr
Amelia Charlotte Kerr (born 13 October 2000) is a New Zealand cricketer who currently plays for Wellington and New Zealand. On 13 June 2018, Kerr made the highest individual score in a WODI match, and became the youngest cricketer, male or female, to score a double century in One Day International cricket, when she scored 232 not out against Ireland. Suzannah Wilson Bates (born 16 September 1987) is a New Zealand cricketer and former captain of national women cricket team. Born at Dunedin, she plays domestic cricket for the Otago Sparks, as well as playing for the White Ferns. Basin Reserve
The Basin Reserve (commonly known as "The Basin") is a cricket ground in Wellington, New Zealand. It has been used for Test matches, and is the main home ground for the Wellington Firebirds first-class team. The Basin Reserve is the only cricket ground to have New Zealand Historic Place status ( Category II) as it is the oldest Test cricket ground in the country. The ground has been used for events other than cricket, such as concerts, sports events and other social gatherings, but now it is mostly used for cricket, particularly Test matches. On 1 October 2021, Cello Communications, a Wellington-based telecommunications company was appointed as the naming rights partner of the ground, thus the commercial name of the stadium became the Cello Basin Reserve as part of a two-year agreement.
