2019–20 Primera Nacional De Fútbol (women)
The 2019–20 Primera Nacional de Fútbol was the 19th edition of this league and the first season as the Spanish women's football third-tier league. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking relegations and planning a new format for the promotion playoffs, to be played if possible by the seven group leaders and the best second qualified team. Format Teams were confirmed on 31 July 2019. Three days after the confirmation, Atlántida Matamá, that previously resigned to promotion to Segunda División Pro, withdrew from the competition. The seven first-placed teams and the runner-up with the most points will qualify for the promotion playoffs. The four winners of the four ties, decided by the luck of the draw, will be promoted to Segunda División Pro for the next season. 2018–19 Segunda División (women)
The 2018–19 Segunda División Femenina de Fútbol was the 18th edition of the Spanish women's football second-tier league. Competition format The Segunda División was divided into seven inter-regional groups. Each group played their season as home and away round-robin format. The seven group champions (for group 6, the winner of the Canarian final) and the best runner-up qualified for the promotion playoffs. In the promotion playoffs, the eight teams were divided by draw into two groups of four teams that played a double-leg knockout format. The two winners promoted to the Primera División. Depending on how the format change is perceived, the top four teams of each group and the two best fifth qualified teams remain in/are promoted to the 2019–20 Segunda División Pro, together with the two relegated teams from Primera División, giving a total of 32 teams to be divided into two groups. Oiartzun Kirol Elkartea is a Spanish football club from Oiartzun, Gipuzkoa, founded in 1975. It is best known for its women's section, established in 1981. History Oiartzun was one of the leading teams in the first years of organized women's football in Spain, winning the national championship in 1987 and 1988 and the national league in 1991. However, in 1993 the team was relegated for financial reasons to the second tier, which became four years later the top category as the División de Honor was disbanded.
