2019–20 Newell's Old Boys Season
The 2019–20 season is Newell's Old Boys' 58th consecutive season in the top division of Argentine football. In addition to the Primera División, the club are competing in the Copa Argentina and Copa de la Superliga. The season generally covers the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. Review Pre-season Víctor Figueroa was the first out, with the midfielder agreeing, on 31 May 2019, to join Ecuadorian Serie A side Aucas in the succeeding June. 11 June saw Iván Silva extend his loan with Brown. Brian Sarmiento agreed terms with Volos on 20 June. Santiago Gentiletti became their first reinforcement for the new campaign, arriving from Spanish Segunda División side Albacete. Brian Sarmiento
Brian Óscar Sarmiento (born 22 April 1990) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a forward. Other than in his country, he played in Spain, Brazil, Peru, Greece and Bolivia. Club career Born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Sarmiento began his career in Argentina with Estudiantes de La Plata, signing for La Liga side Racing de Santander in July 2007. A complicated transfer situation between both clubs, which involved the Court of Arbitration for Sport's mediation, meant that the 17-year-old spent the entire 2007–08 season without making a single first-team appearance. Club Atlético Platense
Club Atlético Platense is an Argentine sports club based in Florida, Buenos Aires. The club nickname is (Squid) after the journalist Palacio Zino said that the team moved "like a squid in its ink". Although the club hosts many activities, Platense is mostly known for its football team. Matías Tissera (born 6 September 1996) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ludogorets Razgrad. Career Tissera spent his youth career with Argentino de Rojas, Sarmiento de Rosario and Newell's Old Boys. He entered the first-team of Newell's Old Boys in March 2017, making his debut on 18 March in a 3–0 victory over Vélez Sarsfield. Four further appearances followed during 2016–17. Patriotas Boyacá
Patriotas Boyacá, also known as Patriotas, is a professional Colombian football team based in Tunja, that currently plays in the Categoría Primera B. They play their home games at the La Independencia stadium. History Patriotas was founded in 2003 by the then-governor of Boyacá Miguel Ángel Bermúdez, together with the then Coldeportes chairman and the owners of hardware business G&J. In its first year in the Primera B, the club reached the semifinals, where it was eliminated by Bogotá Chicó. Lisandro Agustín Cabrera (born 4 January 1998) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Paraguayan Primera División club Sol de América. Asociación Atlética Estudiantes (usually known as Estudiantes de Río Cuarto) is a sports club located in the city of Río Cuarto, Córdoba Province (Argentina). Franco Nicolás Pérez (born 1 January 1996) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga Dominicana club Atlético Pantoja. Club career Pérez began in Newell's Old Boys' youth, before appearing for the first-team in September 2015 for a victory away to Estudiantes (LP). On 31 August 2016, Liga MX side Morelia loaned Pérez.
