2019–20 Lafayette Leopards Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Lafayette Leopards men's basketball team represented Lafayette College during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Leopards, led by 25th-year head coach Fran O'Hanlon, played their home games at the Kirby Sports Center in Easton, Pennsylvania as members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 19–12, 10–8 in Patriot League play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated Army in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League tournament before losing in the semifinals to Colgate. Fran O'Hanlon
Francis Brian O'Hanlon (born August 24, 1948) was an American college basketball coach who was the head men's basketball coach at Lafayette College from 1995 to 2022. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, O'Hanlon played college basketball at Villanova University, from where he graduated in 1970. O 'Hanlon played in an infamous 1970 NCAA Tournament basketball game against Saint Bonaventure, when Bob Lanier was tripped up and injured in a collision with Chris Ford. He played professional basketball for the Miami Floridians of the ABA in the 1970–71 season despite being a Philadelphia 76ers draft pick in the 8th round of the 1970 NBA draft. He was the only Floridians player whose surname on the back of his jersey didn't need to be embellished with an O' prefix in a publicity stunt for the first game of a Saint Patrick's Day doubleheader versus the Utah Stars at Madison Square Garden in 1971. Scranton Preparatory School is a co-educational Jesuit high school located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States. History Scranton Prep opened its doors in 1944. At the request of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Scranton and of Catholic families in the area, the Jesuits who had recently assumed ownership of the University of Scranton began preparations to open a college preparatory school in the Scranton area. Led by the university's president, W. Coleman Nevils, the Jesuits renovated a building known as the “Annex” on the corner of Mulberry Street and Wyoming Avenue for the high school. Besant Hill School of Happy Valley, formerly the Happy Valley School, is an American private, coeducational boarding school and day school in Ojai, California. Parkland High School is a large public high school in South Whitehall Township, near Allentown, Pennsylvania.
